Newbury Beer Festival

So we went to drink lots of beer, it was okay, but we went mainly for the hog roast.

One word of advice, if you want a nice hog roast, do not go when all that is left is a small pile of cold fat, as this mixed with stuffing and apple sauce is not particularly pleasant.

Much preferred the Reading Beer Festival, but Newbury will get better.

I definetly agree with Reading being the better beer festival, the beer's at Newbury were no where near as rancid and varied as Reading's

Never forget Dave's Rancid Cider at Reading.....

And Dave's near fighting at Newbury........

And his overall eating and drinking efforts - 1st class.

Yes Reading was a far superior effort, their rancid cider was of the highest quality. It made you mouth sting and had only the best white lumps. Where as Newbury's didn't have white lumps or even a name.

One tip for you try not to mix unknown cider, a variety of ales, including the ones other people can't finish and a pile of pork fat, you wont feel good at the end of the night.

But if you want to fight with irrate Liverpool fans it THE place to be.
